Its products are used in marine paints, heavy-duty coatings, powder coatings, coatings for civil engineering and construction, consumer goods, packaging materials, and materials for transport equipment; industrial paints and coatings, paints for construction, heavy duty anticorrosive paints, adhesives, and electric and electronic materials; wind power, transfer vehicles, and industrial and consumer goods; insulation materials and flooring; printed circuit board (PCB) materials, semiconductor packaging materials, functional plastic, high-performance film materials, and heavy electric materials; conductive adhesive films; coatings, industrial printing ink, and 3D-printing materials; and electrodeposition coatings. The company was formerly known as Kukdo Chemical Industry. Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Kukdo Chemical Co., Ltd. in April 1999. The company was founded in 1972 and is headquartered in Seoul, South Korea.
