It operates in three segments: Electronic Business Unit, Mechanical Business Unit, and Others. The company engages in the design, surface mount technology (SMT) production, and assembly of automotive rear, interior, and front headlamp lighting, including shifter control and turn signal indicator products for the automotive industry; and produces and assembles SMT for motor controllers, as well as manufactures and assembles printed circuit boards. It also designs and manufactures precision miniature engineering metal parts and components; LED applications to support 3D effects and signature lighting effect substrates; and sheet metal enclosures and value-added electromechanical assemblies for a range of industries, including the semiconductor, telecommunications, medical device, and instrumentation industries. In addition, the company manufactures, assembles, and deals in testing and measuring equipment; designs and manufactures mechanical parts, electronic components, electrical products, and product assemblies for optical instruments, process control equipment, lighting, and other industrial equipment; manufactures and assembles electrical components; and manufactures precision mechanical parts, die castings, molded precision plastic lenses, and modular assemblies. Further, it engages in tooling fabrication, design, and final assembly; testing of LED lighting modules and applications, and box-build solutions; integrated box-built assembly solutions; and operates an international procurement office and a research and development center. JHM Consolidation Berhad was incorporated in 2005 and is headquartered in Penang, Malaysia.
