In addition, the company manufactures, sells, and maintains general purpose boilers, such as boilers and vacuum-type hot water heaters, which are used as heat-source equipment at shopping centers, factories, and other facilities, as well as clean equipment and washing systems for use in the semiconductor industry; and designs and fabricates building equipment, including air-conditioning, water, and wastewater systems. Takuma Co., Ltd. was formerly known as Takuma Boiler Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Takuma Co., Ltd. in 1972.
