It invests at least 80% of its net assets plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes in securities of small-cap companies. The investment advisor considers small-cap companies to be those issuers that, at the time of initial purchase, have a market capitalization that is within or below the range of companies in the Russell 2000 Index as of the latest reconstitution.
