The Adviser exercises a flexible overall strategy in selecting investments by using multiple alternative investment strategies,certain of which may use long and short positions,to build a portfolio in pursuit of the fund’s investment objective. The portfolio managers seek to identify investments and strategies that focus on mitigation of downside risk and have the potential for investment returns that have low correlation to traditional asset classes.
