The fund pursues its investment goal by investing primarily in a broad range of foreign equity securities or depositary receipts of foreign equity securities. Under normal circumstances, it invests at least 80% of its net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, in issuers that the fund’s investment advisor, Thornburg Investment Management, Inc. (‘Thornburg’), has determined exhibit one or more significant and positive environmental, social and governance (“ESG”) characteristics.
