The fund takes long and short positions in a broadly diversified portfolio of equity investments in non-U.S. companies using the subadviser’s proprietary quantitative approach. Most of these companies are considered to be large-capitalization companies, although some may be mid-capitalization companies. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in equity securities or derivatives related to equity securities.
