The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in investment grade municipal bonds, the interest from which is exempt from regular federal and Hawaii state income taxes. It may also invest in municipal bonds issued by other U.S. states, territories and possessions. There is no limit on the average maturity of the fund's portfolio. The fund is non-diversified.
