The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets, plus any borrowings for investment purposes, in equity securities of emerging market companies. The fund's managers consider “emerging market” to mean any country that is not in the MSCI World Index. The fund may invest in and have direct access to China A shares listed on the Shanghai Stock Connect program (“SSE”) via the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect and Shenzhen Hong Kong Stock Connect Schemes.
